Title: Newline stripping / Text coloring problems
Post by: ivan.moony on June 06, 2018, 01:02:47 pm
I'm not sure if other experienced the same thing, but for me, for some few months ago, odd things started to happen when posting new posts. Empty lines are ignored in "new post" attempt - even new lines in code sections -but when I re-edit them inline by lower right "sheet" button, they are interpreted right.
With further problems I can live with, but if it is an one line fix, maybe it would be worth of fixing it. Ever since we have syntax hilighting turned on, on first show up after posting, letters are all the same color. I suppose this wouldn't represent a problem, but since my OS theme is in a dark style, letters are almost the same color as the background and I can't see them. But this isn't much of a problem, since when I hit the refresh button, I get it all right, together with syntax hilighting. Also, all the input text areas are rendered with almost the same color for foreground and background and I can hardly see what I'm entering. Again, I assume it is my dark OS theme that does this, but I can live with this.
Thanks for attention.

I can't think of anything I can do down this end to cater to custom client themes - that's the software and OS at work there, not regular markup. Perhaps try a different browser ?

As for the colour highlighting, currently you may need to refresh if editing.

I just thought it would be some css background spec on textarea, but I'm not the expert, so nevermind.

Thanks for taking a time to answer.  :)
