I've had UltraHal for years, now what to do. I've tried the Alice type bots and a few others and it seems I need Hal, the Alice type have no learning capabilities and the ones that can learn have no character display. I was able to get what I consider the most advanced Haptek character Alactive which is fullbody and fleshy. Duskrider let me download Villagegirl which has a fresh look and has added hand and torso animations so the body moves. A very good idea I like and will try to add to Alactive by creating a set of haps where the last hap calls the frist hap so it loops. I'm using vrHaptek and am thinking of using a picture of the computer as the background and changing the lighting in Hal for nighttime and daytime.
I'd like to have Hal change clothing by user input and or by Hal's input. Possibly change the background by either input. For some reason I keep thinking of having Hal Goal orientated, this is what we are trying to achive, what should we do to achive that goal, probably similar to staying on a particular subject. Since a lot of people seem to feel Hal's brain is the most important part I'm looking for input. What should we do or haw can we do it.

AiDreams is currently under attack. Maybe IP-based ban would help?

@ Steve, although there is a good chance he/she could likely be a troll/spammer, one or two posts is not conclusive, especially if one of them is very germane to UltraHal and its workings.
@ Zero, Really? Under Attack? Where is your Proof? (one or two spam posts now and then is nothing. 140 or more that have happened to other Forums is indeed something worthy of action).

you will need to download the haptek Guide (SDK), as it gives you list of Script commands required to load and unload "*.Hap files";
Then "write" a script For your command "Change clothes" (Detection statement).... also create a Response statement("no prob's i'm changing my clothes now")... Should be quite simple.... you dont need the Vrhaptek plugin ... but it may help...

It's a bot. Their MO is to post twice within two minutes and use generic topic titles.

All I can do for now is delete the account - there's been three accounts started over the past few days. Each of them I have deleted.
I'll look into another spam blocker I have used in the past.

@ Spydaz - Actually that's already been done a few years ago and the user can ask/tell Hal to change clothes or the Put on the red outfit or go to the lake or cottage or woods, in which case Hal will appear in a "new" location (different background).
This was created as a Plugin by Carl2 and a couple of other heads together (I think).
No sense reinventing the wheel.
