Title: Some secrets in Japan
Post by: LOCKSUIT on September 13, 2018, 06:35:28 am
surprising Tim Horton's timbits in a 2010 article about Japan:

My favorite one is their compression and re-use.

https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2010/12/the-surprising-wealth-and-success-of-japan/67302/

in short:

modern
clean
healthy
rich
social harmony and order
safety
low birth rate, high ages
together, minimal migration, work and exercises together
smart
compression/re-useful ex. resources
everyone has a job, similar pay
less imported resources, taught to work together as teamwork, re-use
sacrifices dynamism/innovation (experimentation for new discoveries) for steadiness
growth (birth RATE) not in population but innovation

I imagine they live in a projected neo-utopia,  it must be strange... how simple and organized everything is,  and how much determination it takes to keep it there.

The one surprising one is their compression though. Like ANNs. They re-use. That's a possible connection/insight.

ha ha

look at this ANN thing they do, after reading my list above:

They are doing compression, everyone/everyone's smarts(old aged wisdomers)/everything has a "job" in the knowledge net/robo implement net/recognize net and are used together using all they have and work together and are used in an efficient effective hierarchy that's overfit (literally, lean asians).
