Cool video… but… something is bugging me.
How does the ‘hole’ know how many layers of material to cut through?
The plastic cup is retrieved from inside the copier, approx 8’ inside, so it must have cut through the plastic top, which would have two layers, then the foam pressure pad which has another two layers, then the glass copying face, then the actual mechanisms for the x,y coping head etc.
There must be a limit because the cup was retrievable.

This video was posted a couple of years ago from DUST but that's a matter for the copyright fatcats to worry about. It was called The Black Hole.
One viewer then made a rather humorous comment that the moral of the story should be obvious...Buy good quality cello tape!! :2funny:
Another question to me is, "Did crawling inside of that dark safe, allow him to get more money...well, until the tape failed, that is...?" ;)

I think they need to adjust the lightness of the photo, or something. I can't tell what color the hole is.

And of course, the obvious inquiry would be, "What difference does it make anyhow?" Hmm...I know...let's form a committee to have a large Sign constructed and erected to warn potential space travelers!! "BLACK HOLE AHEAD!! Proceed at your own risk!"
Then again, to what do they anchor the sign? Free-floating? Will it soon get sucked into that black, dense matter thing that doesn't matter?
