Title: Quite a talker this one is...
Post by: Art on July 14, 2019, 11:17:38 pm
With over 660 million users one could say it could be.

This one could be your newest friend or companion if you let it...

It's interesting because Xiaoice and Zo are the exact same chatbot system, to my knowledge. It reads like the lack of privacy laws is one of the factors that make the Chinese version better, as in: They can train it on every private social media post anyone has ever made.

We are in the age of information. The devil is sly and wise.

They use all our information, so they can get the most information they can get out of you (CPS).

The users think they are only talking to their friend.
Then worse, the users only think they are talking to a stupid machine.

A stupid hive collection of information powers the mighty agencies money and knowledge. China wants to control you and rank you up if you obey/do good.

For me, I only need the information on the internet. I don't need more human data for my projects, yet. For our world, their actions are good, making all humans work to put in human data haha!

Ooh. nice to get a mention.  8)

Their Tay chatbot was taken offline after being corrupted. Unfortunately, Zo is a polar opposite and has ZERO opinions on anything even remotely controversial. This make it extremely difficult to talk to. Unfortunately, as Xiaoice is in Chinese, it's impossible for me to talk to.

Incidentally, Mitsuku is now up to an average of over 25 interactions per conversation  :)

The easiest way to make someone stay longer is to say 'ask me for the prize'

they will talk...........oh yes................

the free prize is there, right?
Can I have it?
How much longer?
Soon?
No
Yes
How bout now?
?
you there?

@ Steve,
What was the longest chat duration that Mitsuku encountered with one individual? Just curious.

Cheers! O0

@ Lock,

So...the alure of Prize(s) is the cheese that baits your trap. Interesting.

Others can be led by the bot hitting on some commonality...some shared interest of its human user compared to its amount of stored topical information on that subject...a different sort of cheese if you will.

It's sort of in line with your old tagline, First it wiggles, then it is rewarded.  ;)

Good question to Steve Art.

Well, my idea is this, I was selling stuff recently right, so, I was thinking I know if they want to buy my item, or think they can get one for cheap or free, you could keep them there for as long as until they think wow this is not worth it anymore and this guy is so mean or busy. You can tell them hold on, or is it ok if it has a dent, or that i will be 4 minutes? Where do you live again? Elaborate. Keeps replying... Big conversation held on by a prior exception that is greater.

When chatbot users come, they don't expect a free prize. I suppose they would talk longer if you tell them to for prizes. Not sure how but you could maybe think how to long it out and get them to the tipping point, all for nothing, or, maybe something.

What was the longest chat duration that Mitsuku encountered with one individual? Just curious.
In one session it was 9 hours. The longest I've seen on Youtube is over 1.5 hours: https://youtu.be/s-BlaCkvsVE
However, the same people have been coming back to talk to Mitsuku almost daily for years and have racked up tens of thousands of interections with it.
