Title: Hal 6 Brain Editor
Post by: Art on December 06, 2005, 12:57:56 am
Brain Editor stuff and things:

FLASH!!!

After some more poking around I've found that the script file is not in the halbrain.db file. The script is actually in the Hal6.uhp so now we know why the script always seemed to remain unchanged! The halbrain.db file will hold all the tables generated during various conversations with Hal. This is why you should keep a backup copy of it.

Apparently, you should consider making a copy of the Hal6.uhp file and keep it in a temporary HALBRAINS directory (rename it if necessary).

Hope this serves as some food for thought! Oh...I get it! Thought!...Brain!...How punny!! I amuse myself!!! :2funny:

I just got that recently but haven't even installed it yet. Good thing I read this because I'll want to know how to keep a backup for starting from scratch and also want to work with more than one brain.

Art,
Thanks for the info, just made copies,  I've been wondering what I should make copies of.
