This is the "Unofficial Haptext Reference Guide" version 0.99.
It is a list of all commands and queries that can be typed in at the Haptek console. This console pops up when you put the file Haplogctrl.txt in the root of your harddisk or when you press {ENTER} while viewing a .htr-file.
The Haptek-commands & queries in this guide are presented in the following format:
---------------------------
ADDFILELOCATION
Add a file address to the Haptek internal registry, or remove it.
\addfilelocation [ file= i0= ]
Parameters
file= [filename]? ?
i0= 0 add (default)
i0= 1 remove
Aliases
Related
\load
Example
# The first command adds the URL of a soundfile to the Haptek registry.
# The second one will play the soundfile.
\addfilelocation [ file= [http://www.mywebsite.com/mypage/mysound.ogg]]
\load [file= [c:\mydirectory\mysound.ogg]]
---------------------------
This guide contains an appendix made by Freddy which lists all the switch-references for our heroine FullBodyGirl from Haptek.
This Unofficial guide is intended to be easy on the eyes.
It can still be improved a lot. I like to read your ideas about how to manage that.

I recommend that anyone who is playing with haps and hypertext to download this guide. It has
replaced my Haptek guide to hypertext and is in a lot nicer and more readable format.
This is not idle back-patting either, Doc's guide improves upon the original Haptek layout, with extended
examples and descriptions. He also plans to update this as time goes on.
Well done and thanks Doc.

UNOFFICIAL HAPTEK HYPERTEXT GUIDE 1.5
Consider this the FINAL VERSION, unless something unexpected happens!
A completely rewritten guide after a lot of testing out of commands and queries.
Descriptions for parameters were sometimes dropped but usually greyed out when I couldn't get them to work.
Added a new page about the JavaScript functions inside HapPlayer411.js.
Pages added for "obsolete" commands that nevertheless work:
\loadsound (for .ogg-sounds)
\setcameraoffset (leads look of character away from camera)
\setlookat (camera direction)
\setlookfrom (camera location)
\setmorph (triggers a morph)
Figured out now:
\loadmorph (bind a morph to a switch)
\texcoords (triggers a special effect)
Do the following commands\queries really work?
\createscript
\bmmaskcopy
\deletescript
\tare
\timer
renderer cap edgeantialias
