I don't start many new topics but today I have a compulsion to start one, sorry ;D and as today (Sunday) is normally a time of the week I get to listen to some music I thought I would share.
Expect to find plenty of Dubstep and robotic goodies in here. O0
I NEED YOUR LOVE | DUBSTEP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSvazV0AP0k#ws)

I saw him on YouTube a while back. I think he's one of the better steppers our there. Really good!!
-
Must take ages to learn how to move like that 8)
-
Yeah the guy is incredible 8)
Todays offering is more of the same but this time a bigger drop :P
PUMPED UP KICKS|DUBSTEP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXO-jKksQkM#ws)

Dubstep: Key & Peele (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Kod1q39ddE#ws)
-
:D Funny.
I don't mind it in small doses, I don't think I could listen to it all the time though.
-
This one is a bit more gentle, I think :D
Robotboys feat. Poppin John (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ngUOX2J7AZA#ws)
-
Must take a long time to figure out all those moves 8)
Something a bit different - used in one of my favourite films of all time of the same name.
Ben E. King - Stand by me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vbg7YoXiKn0#)
-
And the date was 1961! Where were you when this song was played? Better yet, how old were you?
I was a bit youthful myself, at that time. ^-^
-
I was not on this Earth ::)
-
Ah! Well if we are sharing music videos, here is a remix and video I made of The Saturdays song called "Up" back in my music producer days.
The Saturdays - Up (Square Bear Remix) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eTtHFGUFoQ#)
-
Nice tune 8)
-
And the date was 1961! Where were you when this song was played? Better yet, how old were you?
I wasn't born either, I was a child of the late sixties.
Squarebear, good tune and the video was quite amusing too. O0
Todays offering.
Fatboy Slim - Dubstep Remix (JFB vs Switch) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=55oU1gY4_ro#ws)

The Final Countdown (Dubstep Remix) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CNN2enWOimI#ws)

Data, you want to say, independence of Scotland? I know that here on the information, they talk about it. :o
-
Here, I live in an Italian territory, which is French centenary, but people here want, so the same thing. Aggressive posters against the French, but I'm used. :-[ that is idiots.
-
I agree claude, we should all be coming closer together and not building walls to separate us all, it is very sad. :(
-
Data sometimes they are old directive, Centennial, it returned to the surface, a few centuries after alas! :-\ I am sorrie for you My Friend. :-[
-
As much for the amazing video as for the song.
OK Go - I Won't Let You Down - Official Video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1ZB_rGFyeU#ws)
-
The part near the end with the 100s of umbrellas was very cool. I wonder if that was genuine or computer graphics though. If real, it must have taken some amazing organising!
-
How cool was that!? Fantastic coordination and choreography involved to pull off that kind of production!!
Great find!! O0
-
Glad that was enjoyed :) I too thought some of it might be CGI, but I am not sure.
Here's something different, it's been popping up on the web for a few weeks now, so you may have seen it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sXLwLRXkEs#ws (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sXLwLRXkEs#ws)
-
Wow! That was surprisingly well done!! I actually enjoyed it! Yes, that guy is talented and I think I've seen a brief clip of him before, maybe on YouTube of such.
Nice find, Freddy (not Mercury). ;)
-
Sorry it doesn't do it for me, can't tap my foot to the beat :(
The video before that I didn't comment on (very good it was too) was filmed with a small drone @ 3/4 speed and speeded up for the finished article. O0

Yes, clearly ;D
Came across this video, I know we have seen something like it before but that was animated, this one is really happening.
The Robotic Musicians known as: Intel's Industrial Control in Concert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLdB0WEixjM#ws)
-
That's clever, must have taken them a while to get that all working right, good find 8)
-
Yeah but just let one tiny ball get out of place!!!
Good stuff.
There was a really large animation several years ago that showcased something like this and it was so far out and captivating that one became mesmerized by watching and listening to it.
A real one, is on an order of magnitude much greater!! Nice find!
A recent one that is real that I actually enjoy is the:

Like many of them have probably reported back saying, "There was no sign of intelligent life!"
:-\

Ironically, the proof that extraterrestrial intelligent life exists is in that they didn't contact us.

EXACTLY!!! Man...you're spot on!! O0
If they're that advanced to travel this far, why would they even stop here? Perhaps to show their kids, "This is sort of what civilization looked like 10,000 years ago!!" ;)
-
Please forgive my taste in music :idiot2:
Todays offering ^-^
Chumbawamba - Tubthumping (Get Knocked Down) (Acetronik & 3LAU Remix) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkT4w9rMQpw#ws)
-
I like today's offering O0
I bought this when it came out back in the 90s when I was living in London. Top tune :)
-
An interesting bit of Mixology. I actually liked the mix O0.
The Demon child, however, should definitely be destroyed!! :knuppel2:
-
Anyone heard of these guys ?
You have now :)
Todays offering:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaVsazogF8c (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaVsazogF8c)
-
Figured them to be an 80's band and nope...never heard of them 'till now.
For a brief moment, I thought I heard some of Ian Anderson's flute! Alas...mistaken.
Interesting group, presentation and song...I think.... ;)
-
Yes Art, they were an 80's band, I think they are still going, on and off.
I like their music mainly because they write songs about unusual topics.
Todays offering is another one of their songs, I'm afraid the video isn't that good but the song sure is.
I give you:
Love and Rockets - Earth Sun Moon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWuPJLtIxvg (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWuPJLtIxvg)
I can be the sun
And I can be much fun
I could shine all over you
I'm crying to
We are the kings
Of nothing at all
We, the rich beggars
That's our role
But we can shine all over you
And we will shine
To get through to you
(You)
Earth, sun, moon
-
What I found interesting, musically, is that the song basically consisted of 2 chords which alternated. The chords were composed of some obvious dissonant notes that added to the overall strangeness of the melody.
Wiki states that their last run was from 2007-2009 then the band broke up. Some, to work with new people.
Hmm...guess people get stale like crackers too... :-\

Time for my bed but before I go...

Cool, I don't remember that one :)
It's funny that Max was a human trying to look like CGI which is usually the opposite of what goes on now. It was a good effect.

Now you mention it, yeah it's completely reversed now.
Max is really my type of A.I, slightly unhinged and with a wicked sense of humour.
Someone here, smarter than me, should have a go at making him :)
For those that might never have seen Max in action - here are some of his best bits.

Love your Doctor Who tune Freddy :)
Enjoyed the Retro Dance Claude, Thank you :)
There is a new phenomena called Fallout 4, something to do with computer gaming I think, here is a music video from said phenomena.

Thank you Data. O0
-
Nope...sorry but the oldies music has little to do with the post-modernistic film.
Completely different kind of wanderers and for different reasons.
But, I like the way you think! O0
-
Added this to the CBC for the robots of course...

Can't tell what is CGI and what isn't :D

I remember seeing it :) ....since you mentioned that too, that is double the weight too
