It turns out that users take the opportunity to say unspeakable things. They use the virtual characters as a safe outlet for their secret desires, sexual fantasies and guilty confessions." Kaushal explains "With avatars, you can't hurt their artificial feelings and they won't betray a confidence or embarrass you, no matter what you end up saying!"
