A big Hi to all bot lovers and makers!
« on: October 13, 2018, 11:30:09 am »
Hello guys!

Nice to find this forum. It seems to be pretty active. I am seeking the best section where I can ask about integration of IOT devices and chatbot platforms, specially Azure Bot Services. Also I would like to hear some opinion from veterans here about how Azure/Microsoft bot framework can handle real-time data from my sensors. Although I have found many experiences about bots controlling homes or appliances, my bot is not supposed to control anything: I just want to push data from analog/digital sensors and feed the conversation.

Looking to hear from you mates!

Thanks in advance.

Hi Vinicivs and welcome to the forum.

I'm not personally a chatbot guru but I'm sure someone can help.

A good starting point is probably the forums archives.

Welcome Vinicivs! It's always nice to have another enthusiast join our ranks.

Yes, definitely search through the decade of posts (might take you a while but then again you might find some real gems hiding there).

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

I ran out of my free trial before I had a chance to study it all so I did not get a chance to really understand it all but it seemed like a fairly solid framework for most applications from what I remember. I know they had a chatbot but made the mistake of letting the public train it lol. You can't do that lol. If they had asked anyone who had been creating chatbots for a long long time they could have told them that the public was not nice to bots lol. They take a lot of abuse. Humans don't seem to appreciate fake humans. lol
So sue me
