First Moore's Law, then Rose's Law, now Neven's Law
« on: July 01, 2019, 02:04:53 am »
Below is a piece of news on quantum computers I heard about today. I assume everyone's heard of Moore's Law, which has been cited for decades for describing the empirical increase in traditional computing power. Then with D-Wave adiabatic quantum computers a more impressive empirical law called Rose's Law came out around 2014, and this new law called Neven's Law is doubly exponential in quantum computing progress, which is incredibly promising. I suspect it's partly hype, but still...

P.S.--If members here are interested in quantum computers, it might be a good idea to have a quantum computing news section in this forum, in addition to the AI News and Robotics News sections.

Locksuit,
What kind of screen capture software are you using? I'd like to use something similar, but the free software I used before was considered suspicious from what I read, and may have had some kind of spyware in it.
