MASH has a program that can take microsoft agents, have them do certain things, and say certain things that you want to occur, then you can save it as a script, which, when opened, will automatically play the story line as you worded it, actions and all.

Is this possible with a haptek character??

For instance, let's say there are options you can do with Hal:

1. Smile

2. Blink

3. Say "How are you doing, big boy?"

4. turn around.

5. give a "high five"

After you type in the words and actions, all of the words and actions would be saved automatically as a script you  can open and play back the "movie"

I know a script writer can do this, but I am no script writer. That's why a program that writes the scripts automatically would be nice.

I know, this would take a lot of work. If someone could make a decent program like that for a haptek character, I'd buy it, if reasonable.

The closest thing to that so far is my Hap Explorer program.  It doesn't auto generate script but you can easily get to the stuff you need to do animations, but you would still need to assemble things by hand and have some knowledge of scripting.

That's a shame. But thanks. If I want to run a show, I'll have to use MASH. :'(
