Is Sony Bringing Back the Aibo?

Robots.net reader euProbe sent a link to a rumor
that the Sony Playstation division has gotten control of the Aibo and
will bring it back in combination with a interactive software
environment that runs on the PS3. The user could
develop new personalities in the simulation environment and download
them to Aibo. This rumor originated from Stuff magazine,
which rated the rumor as having a probability of 53%. The Stuff article
was mentioned in the Gamespot
forums and subsequently picked up by the Kotaku
blog. If this rumor turns out to be correct, it will be good news
for fans of the robot dog that Sony terminated nearly a
year ago.

Heh...I had a friend in school that, when things went repeatedly wrong he used the
expression:

Vuja De!

When I asked him don't you mean Deja Vu?

He repiled, "No! Vuja De means ...This CAN'T be happening!" ;D

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
