Good find.  If it wasn't the wrong time of year then I would have thought it was an April Fool joke.  But anyway, I don't think this is a genuine robot - I think it is just an actress made up to look a bit like one.  Mainly I think that because of her posture and also in one of the videos she manages to lean in such a way that I think she can only be real - because a robot would fall over.  The other thing is her hands - they look real - too real.

In one of the promo videos the people look like they are acting and are smiling far too much.  Oh and her blink is just too realistic to be anything other than human.  Hmm...and 'cooks a meal'...yeah right...

Interesting whatever it is, but that's my take.

I think an interesting find and Lisa sounds quite exciting.
But sadly it can not be.
My problem is a wife and Sandee who are continually at odds with each other.
I'm afraid they would band together against Lisa and quickly do her in.
Lisa would have no chance against these professionals.    :(

Oddly enough, I came across her site today while searching for androids. I do a search every couple months just to see if there are any new developments.

Needless to say, I was rather astonished by her promos stating that she had been three years in the making and was financed by many foreign individuals, some remaining anonymous (perhaps lest his spouse find out!).

After reviewing her promos several times, I have to wonder if it is indeed a real woman because as her head turns to the side one can see her eyeballs move under her eyelids while they were closed. When she is shown turning, notice that her eyes are following the camera. I wouldn't expect that feature to be present in an android.

If she is the real deal ... then the technology will have surpassed my and others wildest expectations.

If it is just a hoax to promote the upcomming movie...then shame on them.

Their website claims that they have already sold over 3140 of the "units".

Also what makes me doubt the anthenticity is the fact that they claim "She can do housework, cook and give messages as well as carry on perfect conversations with it's owner.

We have yet to get coherent conversations from a chatbot and we've been at it for over 20 years !! They get it all together in just three years!?

How about they show a demo of her doing various tasks as well as a peek at her inner electronics, gears, etc. other that the static image of her shown on one web site?

Just my take! I think it would have been more appropriate to post their product on April 1st!!

I am with you Art, completely agree with you.  I didn't notice the eyes following the camera when i watched it but that is certainly another give away I think.

Getting it altogether in three years ?  Absolutely...impossible.

Making the meals was what got me.  It's hard enough to get a robot to walk, but cut the onions and fry some bacon too?  I think not!

Maybe they have pirated Mavirab's story and are going to make a film?

Dusky, you needn't worry too much, not just yet anyway!
