From what I know about SL, people stay on line for hours and hours, somehow I don’t think they will want to stand up for all that time.

So I agree with GT, it might be a novelty for 2 minutes.

Respect must go to the developers of the system but is this technology “because we can” or is it “because its needed”?

You're right, Data. Sometimes I like to fly above the surface, following roads and randomly discovering new places. But then what?

I do that all the time with Google Earth!! ;) O0
