We've all tossed around the idea and perception of whether something like an animal or maybe Chatbot / android is "Self Aware" or perhaps even some people (tongue in cheek) for that matter. What decides the state of awareness and how is it decided and when does this occur? Those questions and a lot more can be answered and explored in this nicely presented BBC documentary.

Bear in mind (no pun intended), the video is almost an hour long but on one of those boring afternoons or weekends, you might wish to have a look as I found it quite interesting.

Looks like we've got our work cut out for us in the field of AI.
