There's a download link to her in the Downloads area of my forum
if you don't want to bother with it at PlanetVixens.

Yeah thanks, I got her ok.

First impressions of the avatar are that she is very pretty but looks a bit like a Monty Python cartoon character when she talks - you know, where the mouth moves up and down but nothing else.  Also the voice sounds like a head mistress but I guess you can change that.  Hmm, I doubt I will spend much time on this but it's worth a look.  I think I will soon get fed up with looking at the same static figure.

That's the problem with most MS Agents. Especially when you
get to know what 3D avatars can be like. Although Guile does
some pretty darn good Agents with more than the standard
mouth only movements.

Yeah that is true, I agree very much.  I first came across Haptek so was spoilt and since then I haven't been impressed by many MSAgents I am sorry to say.  Some are nice, but they are too repetative for my diet.

That's another reason why I prefer the "learning" type of bots over the scripted ones.
It's the randomization of thought that makes humans unique (among other things).
It would be rather sad if we could predict what each person would say or how they
would act if they were merely reciting scripted passages or actions.

To a large extent we can "predict" some answers and actions but for the most part
it is the not knowing what to expect that makes us who we are.

Try not to be a creature of habit. <pick a card...any card> ;)
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

Yes I agree Art.  Scripted type bots seem to do the trick where you have only occasional interactions, things like a help avatar on a web page.  But for more variety you have to go with things like Ultra Hal which will throw unexpected things at you - like you say a lot more like a real conversation.

Hello Folks --

I am still a huge fan of Cynthia. I have posted my favorite Avatar (distinctly un-montypython looking !) and a collection of FCT files for learn from reading on my Web Site under FREE Downloads. You can get the main prog there as well. I have had time to do some experimentation and research on this AI Bot. It is my belief that it was constructed using Answer Pad as a base engine. I really do still think that she is awesome.
