A robot to help improve agriculture and wine production
28 January 2015, 4:37 pm

Agricultural researchers and computer scientists are working on the development of an unmanned robot, equipped with non-invasive advanced sensors and artificial intelligence systems, which will help manage vineyards. This robot will provide reliable, fast and objective information on the state of the vineyards to grapegrowers, such as vegetative development, water status, production and grape composition.

Wasn't there already a topic about this? I am positive I found this link on this forum...
Software and Hardware developer, and everything in between.

Tyler pulls news from various sources sometimes the stories are the same. If I spot duplicates I remove them.

I remember writing a reply for this on my phone. Then the topic was non-existent. Yeah now I remember.

Anyway regarding the article, I originally said that it is just clustering together existing technologies and concepts for which you can find many DIY tutorials. And this barometer on wheels is in no way 'intelligent'. To qualify as such it should be able to tell between an infested leaf, a damaged branch, dry-looking grapes etc. along with a hell load of other qualifiers.

Not impressive, not innovative, no reason to post articles in media about it.
Software and Hardware developer, and everything in between.
