A.I. live demos
« on: October 05, 2017, 04:58:20 pm »
Hi All. My name is Felipe and I am responsible for producing a small exhibition about AI in a small museum in Brazil. I would like to know if you guys can help me with some suggestions about available apps/solutions that I can make a live demo.

Felipe,

Yes, I would say you came to the right place.
I would recommend talking to Freddy here, who
has a really nice chatbot in a beautiful 3D world.

Freddy's chatbot runs Unity, one of the most
popular Game Development Environments,
High School students learn in the USA.

I think it would make an educational museum exhibit.
When you see it, I think you will agree.

Another stunning chabot is Mitsuku, if you are streaming
live on the Internet.  Talk to squarebear, here about that.

And there are more live demos besides these, but I will leave
those for other members to suggest.

ai comes mostly to video, audio, motor and language,  so you could put a little section of each maybe?

I'd love to be able to help but I don't think my bot world is in a complete enough state to do a museum credit. It's been a while since I tinkered with Unity and my code is probably out of date at the moment. I only have a few recorded demos to show really. If this is a long standing thing maybe I can help in the future.

It looks like SquareBear's avatar Mitsuku is more suitable so I would agree with 8pla.net there and she might make a nice interactive display.

And as Ranch mentioned many of us have videos and things to show our work.

Stick around, it would be interesting to see how things develop and good luck with your exhibition :)

You are welcome to check out Mitsuku at: https://www.twitch.tv/mitsuku_irl
She has been demonstrated at several museums in Germany/Austria at the British Academy in London and will be appearing at the Manchester Science Festival later this month.

Did you say "motor", as in servo motor?   Here is a little section of each: video, audio, motor and language.
This is a TEST animatronics robot head.  It was built on a budget, for alpha testing robot head programming.

It could use some fine tuning, but for alpha testing programming a robot with a computer, it serves its purpose.
