Banned from A.I. Nexus forum.  Banned from the Robitron list.  Reasons of which remain a mystery due to a ballot in which votes were cast in secret.   Do you have any advice, guidance or recommendations for members to avoid getting involuntarily banned?

Banned, or were your accounts so old they dropped off the system? Robitron isn't so active that I can imagine much banning taking place.

Careful or you'll get banned here for just asking about it!!  :knuppel2: :2funny:

Naw...we have way too much fun here to take ourselves THAT seriously!!

Enjoy your stay...then again...we don't have many contests do we Freddy? Should we? Hmm...
That way we could make crazy rules that can be changed without notice, pre-ban certain "questionable" contestants, then hold off on any awarding of any prizes in hope that the "winner" simply gets tired and goes away.
Or has that already been done? :idiot2: :tickedoff:

Welcome to our little corner 8lpha. I've seen you posting on Chatbots.org and nothing you posted strikes me as ban worthy. Art is right, we are a bit more laid back here, enjoy your stay :)

Also want to welcome Don here too, I know you posted a few times already but I have been busy and had not said hello yet :)

Why, thank you. I have neglected to make much of an entrance myself :). I visit this forum a bit more leisurely than Chatbots.org

@ 8Pla.net and Don,

Forgive me for not welcoming you both to our humble slice of Artificialness.
I too have seen you both on chatbots.org and have chimed in from time to time.

This forum does not seem to suffer the time lag that the other one does for whatever reason.

We do like to explore various ideas, literature, movies, graphics, chatbots, AI, robots, etc.

Sort like a carnival of AI without the barker hollering in your ears and charging high prices!! LOL!

Have fun! New people always bring new ideas so make yourself at home, ask questions, enjoy!

Thank you  Freddy.   Thank you Art.   The Artificial Intelligence content discovered at AIdreams is delightful.  In particular, it is exciting to find so much good A.I. entertainment to catch up on.

Don asked, "Banned, or were your accounts so old they dropped off the system?" I have long suspected that Robitron burns itself on a funeral pyre only to rise from the ashes. Yet, a disadvantage being without empathy may have been.  Still there were many advantages.

Archived on the Robitron list, I reported to Kevin Warwick, professor of cybernetics at the University of Reading, as a Loebner Prize Judge, hired by Huma Shah who then went on to finish her PhD.  Also, as an A.I. developer,  Dr. Amanda Windle published my A.I. work in her PhD thesis out of the University of the Arts London.
