Hi all,
I’m happy to have found this place. It’s great to meet so many people with similarly ambitious attitudes towards A.I.
I’m a software developer living in Toronto. I've been working on my own A.I. projects for the last 4-5 years. My ambition is to combine logical induction with goal-oriented learning. An A.I. that uses both can define and solve exceptionally difficult problems.

^ This is my blog. I write about 'Artificial Knowledge Workers’ (my own term), and what's needed to build software that can do knowledge work.
A few of my blog articles are marked as Work In Progress. I’m in the process of completing them and adding videos of working code to all articles.
I always appreciate feedback and discussion. I’m as much an educator as I am a developer.
I also hope to get more involved in the discussions here. Maybe I'll even get to meet some of you in person... you know, once we're allowed to do that again.

Wow, there's a lot of warmth in this forum. I'm happy I found a space where people have exploratory, hypothetical discussions. I don't have all the answers, and if they exist, they're somewhere in our combined grey matter.
As for the blog, I've found a lot of people out there are interested in collaborating on A.G.I. research. Developers often have free time, and want to use it to create something meaningful or important. They tend to encounter friction when they hit the steep entry curve.
My goal is to use accessible language while exploring topics around A.G.I. That way that all interested parties, devs or otherwise, can get on board and lend a hand.
