Hey,

I'm Ido and I work for a super cool startup that developed Kueri.

Kueri is a SDK that enables developers to embed a simple-to-use search-box that converts Natural Language questions into SQL, in their app.
Since we've launched we noticed developers using and embedding our technology in bots and other AI apps.

The SDK offered free for commercial use and it can be downloaded from our website. http://kueri.me/download?ref=AI

I would love to hear your thoughts and feedback and I would be here to answer any question you might have.

Hey Ido!
Just wanted to extend a welcome to you and wish you good luck in your company's continued development of Kueri. It does sound promising.

Welcome Ido,

A while back, I think I read somewhere, that SQL was originally, "Structured English Query Language".

Then the word "English" was removed from SEQL to make it... SQL.

So the purpose then, is to query a database, using natural language?

8pla.net - There have several bots and conversational systems that use SQL databases as you mentioned. Harumi from Jeff Bastini is a chatbot. Cassandra from Emmett Coin's ejtalk is a conversational engine that's rather impressive. There are also some conversational Home Control applications that use SQL for human / computer interaction.

One main detractor I've noticed is the delay in response time. The larger the database the slower the response. There might be a way around this eventually. One the positive side, it is relatively easy to edit or debug.
