Hi There!
« on: August 24, 2016, 09:39:11 pm »
Hi All,

I go by the handle catigotr, I have a personal interest in deep learning, cryptocurrency/blockchain tech and cybersecurity.

Network or "Cyber" Security is my professional field of work for the last 12 years, however I have a hobby for programming in a number of languages. Mainly C/C++ & PHP for web.

My aim on this forum is to gain inspiriation as I am looking to create a project which can join my hobbies together. I have some ideas.

My latest idea was a cryptocurrency exchange monitor with learning capabilities so it would know due to previous data when a currency was about to go up in price or showed the signs of such things happening. This was only a theoretical project and I created some alphas a few months back. However after 2 weeks, I had just over 6tb of data. The storage was too much for me right now and I had to cut back on development.

Hopefully I can help people here and likewise. I look forward to speaking to you all around the forum.

 Hello @catigotr.

I had an idea of having a currency being little programs that all have their own identification numbers.
it would keep track of where it been and so on I Call it agent money.
But it can travel so fast for each transaction it may cause the economy using it to look like to much money. A
too big of a supply and then would cause inflation.
Also when more computer power become available the smarter the note can be. And evolve into
a unique person a may become worth more than the note. A hedge against inflation:)

That is a good idea. I like the idea of tracking each "coin" as such. The benefits would be good but people usually like anonymity and if you were to give someone 2 notes for example, they may need to split into that for change, Then a whole note ID would either have to be split or each individual cent may have to be monitored.

I like the idea. I dont know if users would. It would be fun to follow around though especially if it has been in circulation years and you can see what users/vendors used it for. Just for statistical fun.

splitting note and path traveled and the birth date of the note will have to be recorded. Any un linear transaction
will put a cloud over the note.
I do not know it bitcoin or SoftBank does this?
Another thing is you would have tell the AI money wen to split and where to go, new owner. If copied by out side
cloning software should cause the note to become  void.

 The dualaletie of chaos:

When moving one article to another location, do move everything over and then delete what is left behind?
What if there is a glitch and the behind information does not get deleted and say "i live and i am correct copy. I
will fight and report any copies of me to the law"

Or do does the agent, AI note, use sensors and sends over little test program check out the memory it is
going to move over into. Then if every
thing seem safe it starts moving over small part of it self and deleting them in a way that does not destroy
it. There could be automatic backup if the connection gets broken. The note would have to be in limbo forever how
long it took re established contact again.

One sci fi novel that i liked that dealt with AI stock traders was  "A New Order of Things", by Edward M. Lerner:

I also have a idea how to set up a economy from nothing using cell phones and soft money system.

Hi catigotr :)

How about intelligent virtual coins? So you should talk them into leaving you and being adopted by someone else, before transaction. But if they don't want to, then you have to work on your persuasion skills. And if they don't like the new owner, they could return to you. Or decrease their relative worth if we don't treat them well, just to teach us a lesson. We would have to feed them, read stories to them and play with them all the time to make them happy. And if they get sick or old, sometimes they die, and then we should organize funeral, so other friend coins could honor them for the last goodbye. They could even have a president, their government, elections and all of that. Then we should watch out for a revolution, if we screw up a big time. You never know with those virtual coins...

P.S.
We could name them Tama-coins :)

P.P.S.
What? Seriously! A game for kids could be made with Tamacoins. They could trade between each other for some life simulating game, maybe a farm simulation, or upgrading spaceships in some space simulation. Could be cool. Hehe :)

 AGI economy:
Go to a place where it has been rected by humans/
Build a battery plant and build a solar farm.
Then build a factory to build AGI robots.

The AI robot will work for charged batteries. But when there is to many make your own currency.
Money is for dealing with chaos of AI robots wanting to do thing in their own way. In human signals travel through
the nerves slowly. But a AI robot can be as big few city block and have the same never speed.
I think it would look like 4 foot thick lily pad with legs of leg ever 3 feet and would have a 1/2 mile radius.

So the flow of eclectic money would be in one direction. And in the opposite direction, the flow would build items, services,
and uncharged batteries.

When my chaos gets into the system AI robot will start setting up their own businesses. Positive eddies in the currency flow.
You in this would be considered be a farmer. When the chaos gets even worse AI robots will
try to muscle you out of your farm or pay them a fee, bribe, or protection money and say you must call
them the "government".
