Someone mentioned that they could go in and edit the memory file without engaging the AI, does anyone know about this? Where is it and how do you edit it. Thanks!

I think  they (there are several) can be found in the Users > [Your_Name] > Documents > Kari 4 Pro > Personalities folder.

You should find several as mentioned contained therein. Consort, Devine, Dreamer, Kari4. These will all have extentions of .mem.

These files can be edited with any basic Text Editor. I prefer Crimson Editor https://sourceforge.net/projects/emeraldeditor/files/ . It is Freeware and works very nicely and has a great number of useful features.

Before you decide or attempt to experiment with these files Make A Backup Copy of these files in the event that one of these experiments goes astray! These are basically text sentences that Kari will call upon when the program detects a close pattern match. At least that was my interpretation. So be careful what you choose to change.

With Kari, if one is wanting a chatbot, try adjusting the settings like the Ego, Libido, etc. as they will have an impact of "her" chat performance.

I am glad you mentioned making a backup.  I found out the hard way that it is a good idea to do that. I had to completely reinstall her to fix her after my boo boo with her.
