Hello all. I thought I would join in the fun here at AiDreams.

Many on you know me from Chatbots.org.

For those who don't know me, I am the bot master of Skynet-AI www.tinyurl.com/Skynet-AI. Skynet-AI took third place in the Chatterbox Challenge this year. I just put version .004 on-line. Some of the new capabilities include the ability to solve word math problems, and the start of an enhanced memory system. Although there are still some bugs in it the version is now stable enough for daily use.

I have also created a framework called JAIL^tm JavaScript Artificial Intelligence Language, that I used to build Skynet and experiment with AI.

I have observed for years, but since I tended to only check sporadically I didn't register before. I hope to visit more frequently now and since I just put the latest version of Skynet-AI on-line I thought it was time to join up.

I find my on-line life fractured between many sites. I tend to join only when I can provide value and regularly return to join in the discussion.

Thanks Merlin. It's not really a new project, it's another approach using the same basics. I simply removed the deep parsing (which was giving me more headaches then it was solving) and replaced it with a regular expression like pattern matcher (patterns compile into a tree-like structure) + added a char engine + made the designer app more accessible.   
Anyway, your new math features are pretty cool.

You are right Jan, I should have said your new directions.
As you know, regular expressions are at the core of what I am doing in Skynet-AI. I imagine you'll be very happy with that change. I have always liked your designer, and I have been considering doing a basic char engine myself.
