New guy
« on: July 20, 2014, 03:02:33 pm »
Hi I'm John, I live in NC in the US, I am 45 and disabled. I spend most of my time playing video games and reading news on the Internet. I have been using computers since I was three, in 1972, my father had a prototype Cogar Supermini computer. it was an 8 bit computer with something like 8k of RAM and a 10MB hard drive the size of a washer - the printer sounded like a machine gun.

Give me quite a while, I have to work on getting two people two write about what I have already done, and I have to finish writing an explanation.

I have discovered a way to perform logic sans traditional binary Boolean logic. I have created a working model using this logic. It took me six months back in 2001 to come up with logic that is about 400+ lines of code. I look at it as a geometry of information. It is pure connectionism.

I promise I will be back  O0

Welcome John! I had one of the first Radio Shack TRS-80 Model-I computers in Florida back in the late 1970's.

It had a whopping 4k RAM and used a cassette tape for program storage!

Later a 5-1/4" floppy drive for a RS-Color Computer cost $500.00! Yes and Single Sided Double Density  (I don't think that's where the expression SSDD came from but we really can't be sure - ;)) floppy disk drive!!

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!

I had Commodore 64 around 90-ties. Loading a game from a floppy drive took around five minutes.
