All systems are go for a bold demonstration of neuroscience and cognitive technology in action: on June 12, during the opening of the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil, a paralyzed person wearing a brain-controlled robotic exoskeleton is expected to make the first kick. The system records electrical activity in the patient's brain and translates that to action. It also gives the patient tactile feedback using sensitive artificial skin.(https://aidreams.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Ffeeds.feedburner.com%2F%7Er%2Fsciencedaily%2Fcomputers_math%2Frobotics%2F%7E4%2FO8PRy-MnCVc&hash=d283b2a751fe700586befd298fe6825e963c9396)
