Flying into a possibly hostile airstrip aboard an Air Force C-130, the robot dogs were sent outside the aircraft to scout for threats before the humans inside would be exposed to them, according to an Air Force news release dated September 3.
These new robot dogs from Ghost Robotics are battle hardened and according to a spokesman for the company, they are unstoppable. Clad in camouflaged metal armor they do look a lot tougher than a Boston Dynamics Spot but they are still remote controlled by a human operator.

I wonder what frequency they operate on.

Somehow I feel this is embarrassing.
Since 2005 they should have already had flying nanobot bees that fly using the air itself and have those pin-drop cams, and can easily kill enemies as well since invisible. These slow land dogs just look like a weakness.

Well the newest weapons would be most effective when secret. Remember Andy's post about the metallic fly news-story/conspiracy?

Ya...secret high tech stuff is only let out once it's beneficiary everyone uses it...
Off to go make me some fly bugs... keep your windows shut
