Mobile tools can increase tobacco screening, cessation counseling rates

Smartphones and tablets may hold the key to getting more clinicians to screen patients for tobacco use and advise smokers on how to quit. Even though tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the U.S., clinicians often don’t ask about smoking during patient exams.

A lot of smokers I know are switching to those e-Cigarettes, those small pen-like wands that contain a flavored oil of your choice and a measured dose / strength of nicotine allowing one to gradually taper off. It heats a small bit of the liquid and produces a whitish cloud of vapor when exhaled, resembling smoke but there is no flame and no heat. Smoking these devices is allowed in most, but not all establishments.

Who would have thought...Electronic cigarettes!

OK I admit it, Freddy means me, yeah I have a few mods now. 

Been off the tobacco for about 10 months.

I suppose one could put a wide variety of oils into their ecig. (provided that the oils in question are NOT in question!)

Hehe, yeah I like to vape some Castrol GTX before I go driving. 

But seriously the liquid I vape is made from Vegetable Glycerin, a non toxic substance found in food and the cosmetic industry, to that they add flavour and nicotine. The liquid has to have the ability to vaporize at relatively low temperatures and not combust or burn, it's when combustion has taken place that negative substances get created and we don't want that in out vapour.   

So really Art you can't vape just any oil, it is quite a lot more complicated then that but you did make me laugh with your comment.
