eLEGS Exoskeleton from Berkeley Bionics
15 June 2011, 4:00 pm

photos of eLEGS testers  In this TED Talk, Eythor Bender of Berkeley Bionics is first introduced by Amanda Boxtel, a member of Berkeley Bionics test team, who begins by using her own story to prepare the audience by drawing them into the experience of being confined to a wheelchair. Bender briefly traces the history of mobility devices and Berkeley Bionics' development efforts, and then reintroduces Amanda, this time wearing an eLEGS exoskeleton, which makes it possible for her to walk. The rest of the test team is then brought on stage.

Quite an emotional and intense presentation of an idea / product and the type of people it can and will affect and assist.

Great stuff!!!
In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
