HRP-4C Miim walks like a human

     Researchers from Advanced Industrial Science and Technology Institute of Japan (AIST) just released this new video of the HRP-4C Miim robot that they develop. The human-like robot is now able to walk smoothly, its (or her?!) knees are stretched by the vertical movement of the waist,  the single-toe supporting realizes longer strides and the legs perform the swing motion of the human equivalent. I saw this bot when it first came out. It now looks as if the developers have refined it's
walking gait as it seems to be not as jerky as before.
