International ArtBots Exhibition is Looking for Robots
ArtBots is an international talent
show for art robots. ArtBots 2008
will be coming up soon. Douglas Repetto
of Columbia University emailed to remind
us that, "this isn't really a competition, but it is an
opportunity for people to show their creative robotics work." They
don't have any fixed idea of what constitutes an art robot, so if you
have something you think might qualify as both a robot and art, they're
interested in seeing it.
Oh, and while they say it's not a competition, there is an "audience
choice award" and a "artist choice award" up for grabs. Need some ideas?
