NASA, Microsoft collaboration will allow scientists to 'work on Mars'

NASA and Microsoft have teamed up to develop software called OnSight, a new technology that will enable scientists to work virtually on Mars using wearable technology called Microsoft HoloLens.

These guys showed it off first. However their version requires an pocket computer with Intel i5 nearly the size of a tablet wired to the head gear, whereas these new ones have the computer circuitry attached directly on the back side of the head gear.

Sadly we cannot compare processing power and graphics capability, which i very important as these are 3D real-time renders in 3D (3D images on 3D glasses...).
Software and Hardware developer, and everything in between.

How the hell are you supposed to get a real time signal that far,   do you do things with 2 minutes latency taken into account?   but that actually would be possible,  its like lag fixing in internet action games.  (although its a bit more hardcore taking a minute into account.)
