I'm redoing the skins for the Haptek full_bod character. I just resized a Jpeg skin, 187Kb by a factor of 4 in both directions and came out with a 1551 Kb jpeg. I'm using Paint Shop Pro, enlarging is easy to do, I'm hoping to get more detail and loose some fuzzyness I couldn't get rid of in the smaller size. I haven't made changes to the larger image yet and thought I'd get some advice before doing detailed work.
I'm also concerned about streaching of fabric with ribs or lines on the fabric, I'd like to see the spacing about the same.
