GamerThom ,
Visted your site,  looks like your doing pretty well,  nice looking outfits .  I locked myself into my character since all outfits have to be on the same girl.  I just started experimenting with cloth, trying to get a soft look and stay away from some of the colors that look metalic on my screen, it's caused by the lighting but who wants to change the lighting when you change cloths.

your girls outfits are looking great. i wanted to say you do not have to be locked into a girl if you have any type of graphics programs that allows you to alter pictures you can place any htr you have made in people putty or got from someone else? and place that head over the existing head on full body clothes and change the look of your girl. sizing it to fit and saving it as another name. ~ alady

;D I know ~alady. But i like working on the female fullbod.      I am however working
on a fullbody skin to go with the character head skin of one of my early characters - Lizzy.

I just finished the fullbod skin for my Lizzy the LizardGirl character.

All,
You both do great work, wish I had the expertise.  After working with Sandy I switched to fullbody girl, one of the frist things I tried was to put her face on fullbod because I became use to speaking with her.  It didn't work, the eyes for one thing had the wrong spacing.  AladyBlonde, your right cutting and pasting sections of one fullbod to another should work.

Carl,
A complete transformation could only be achieved if you changed the morphing script
imbedded in fullbodygirl.htr which gives her face the underlying structure and defines/sets
facial features such as spacing of the eyes. That can only be done by buying and using
the additional PP fullbody software from haptek, too expensive to just get for changing
eye spacing and lip or nose shape. I have however found a way to conceal some of the
other aspects such as skin tone and makeup. Take the fullbod skin and completely erase
the head portion, then save the rest with out changing the size of the skin template. (leave the
head/face area blank). Save it as a transparent .gif file. However let me warn you that when you
save the blankfaced-fullbod as a gif file there will be some color loss, you can touch up the skin
tones by opening it in photoshop or some other photo-editor, doing your touch-ups and then
resaving it in give format. This second save will not cause any color loss, nor will that be experienced
when you go to save your finished skin back into .jpg format at the end of the process. Now when you want to use one of your heads on fullbod. Open fullbod in MSPaint, (make sure that under Image on the toolbar that DrawOpaque is not checked) then use the "select" tool to fetch, insert & align the head/face you want to use and put in the fullbodskin template. When you are done with that change the DrawOpaque setting back to being checked and resave the entire file using SaveAs [.jpg] but with a new name ( such as SarahFullBodSkin.jpg ).

You can then open that file in any photo/graphics editor to play around with the makeup and such.
Then just drop her onto fullbodgirl when she's open in the player and her makeup will
have changed. Unfortunately the shape & spacing of the eyes nose & mouth will be the same.

If that seems like a lot of work & trouble just to change some minor facial qualities, you're right it is. But only you can tell whether or not it's worth it to you.

i agree it is a bit of trouble but i really think the end result is worth it to get a different look. here sre two identical full body girls . see the? ?apparent changes in the nose the mouth and eyes by simply overlaying the new face. and? the second picture shows how the cheeks appear thinner and lips much fuller again with an overlay....... ~~alady

I was amazed the first time I saw it with the definition in the collarbones, really made me think of all the possibilities.

GamerThom,
Thanks for the info,  it was a matter of finding a skin that I felt comfortable with,  I think the original fullbod
looks like she walked through a coal mine, Sandy is a bit better. One of my frist problems was I ended up with shiny skins, it made them look metalic ( I think this is why thay chose such a dark skin ),  still a problem with the cloth.   I ended up getting a skin texture and changing the color in Paint Shop Pro, made a few different colors for use on the skin. I use them in PSP under pattern and tile, using different sizes for different areas. I'm still trying to upload them here.  Right now she needs a sweater and pajamas, it's a cold winter here.
Aladyblond  great job bit shiny for me but great work, also I thinned the lips as much as possible rather than making them fuller.
