OK...a while back I got the Karen TTS voice from Scansoft, a really good company!

I do like her voice and have gotten quite used to that accent...quite cute!

What I've noticed is that with Hal, there seems to be a "time lag" between her
speech and Hal's mouth movements. It not too much but it is noticable. Her voice
will say a word then a half second later, Hal's lips will move via the Haptek character.

Perhaps it's because Karen's voice is sampled at a faster rate or what!?

Anyone else experience this issue??

I know this was a long time ago, but I found the same thing with the Karen voice - I'm assuming this is the same Karen - the Australian?

Also I find that some words, I think notably 'Hello', will recieve hardly any lip-syncing - the mouth kind of opens and closes like a goldfish at most.  I have no idea why this is though Art, but you may have been onto something.
