I've been using all my time on ActionScripting

(read: deppresed after death of Dumbledore)

but I've been thinking latley I should improve my Halita.

I have the .ogg files ready for you guys, and I thought that

I had the lipsyncing working ...but I don't  :cussing:

I have those 3D games from THRIXXX and the sound interests me

so I converted their sound.bpx file to .ogg files

but they seem to be missing the header cues....

I'll try again then tommorow I'll zip what I have and upload it for better minds then me to work on

Sounds interesting, but I never heard of THRIXXX, my entire game playing life is filled with Neverwinter Nights at the moment.

Thrixx entertainment for the uneducated (or non perverts hehe) is 3d simulated realism. They offer two forms of entertainment...a web based and a download (the 3D sex villa)...the technology here is actually quite good and the animation not bad either, perhaps possible food for thought for Hal ?

Glad to see your still about.

As I have experience of Thrixx I'm interested to see what you came up with in the vocal department. As for the actual zip of the .ogg files I may have to put a warning on this thread as I'm sure you are aware why (depending on what sounds exactly you have converted hehe).

Let us know when you get them sorted, would love to hear them

Well, I have been away too long.
So here is the file only a few months later....

this is an .ogg file which you can load into your Hal
at a .hap level (as I currently do)
or at the VB brain level

I ripped this from a THRIXXX program as any of you who have
played it will recognize.

I thought the File would contain the special lip sync data but alas it is not working.
apparently we would need the people putty to enable lipsync.

Though you know, .ogg is not actually from Haptek, they just use it.
We willl figure it out sooner or later!

oh yeah, this is an adult file you must be an adult and so forth.

Yes I have been very well thank you, just busy.
The Holidays seemed to go on for months!

Indeed, anyone with peopleputty can 'enable' lipsync on on .ogg file.
I heard that from Dr. Benaway which makes it even better then a fact.

Hopefully we will come with an exciting breakthrough in '06!
One of the things I like about Hal is that the users are in charge of the
expansions! HA

  I dont want to confuse you with technical jargon.
But Neils improvied file is what is known in 'the industry'
As 'NICE!!!'.

You may look that up in your technical dictionary
you'll find it right next to 'Neil'

Done with haptek's phoneme editor,
You can do it in people putty but it also adds any background sounds
