Title: OGG files and Haptek
Post by: Art on July 24, 2005, 02:22:10 am
Ever noticed that some ogg files work well with lipsync and always have a Haptek statement at the beginning of the file (if viewed with say, Notepad)?

The files I and others write, then convert to OGG format will play when dragged and dropped onto the Haptek window but no lipsync is seen!

I wonder what the trick or method of encoding the file is  to produce a lipsyncable (new word?) file?

It does make for a great ventrilloquist because I hear the words but I certainly can't see the lips move!! :tickedoff:

Hi Art,
The ogg file has a phn file imbedded in it. Have a look at the haptek guide and it explains it better than i.
I've made some ogg files in people putty but can't upload because files too big.
Duskrider enjoyed them.
If you would like to hear them please get in touch.
