Can't you insert a routine into your AI that will simply OPEN the data file and
retrieve specific info based on your search criteria?

There are a lot of VB and VBS forums that have tons of script samples for free.
You might look through some of them in an effort to locate a piece or two of code
that might be easily adapted for your project.

Interesting but a similar topic is being discussed on another forum that would
eventually give Hal the ability to recall what it knows about a given topic.

Ya know, gotHiede73, I could probably go on and on about you kicking old posts around and attempting to poke me or somebody else with Will's stick just to get a response, however I will give you a clue, somebody just barely discovered Water, yes Water it has many properties such as viscosity and such, but you building sand castles in the sky aint gonna cut it! WTF?
