Thanks all.

I promise you. Just an ultimate movie and I definitively stop using that magic dance hap. Afraid to be repetitive.

Or maybe with ONE fullbody character.  ;D

You don't have to stop using the dance.hap completely, just use it in a portion of the performance. So far, you are doing great!!! ;D

Thanks for the nice scrolling, Mark.  :)

If you edit THE file, you can see it seems to be compressed (not in human language!). So we can't split it.

I guess you capture the parts you need for your videos. But in my scripts, I must play the whole choreography.  :(

Oh, yeah. Well, we all got our limitations. I cannot do what you and Neil do, and you cannot do what I can do. (I can barely get my old PC to do what I want, lol) But I love my computer, as long as it's reliable. ;D

You're right Mark. I LOVE my (8 years) old PC too and don't NEED any other one. To do what?

1 - To buy the last version of "Flight Simulator"? And crash my plane when landing, like I did in the DOS version. But with a lot of details, I must admit.

2 - To go to Second Life? I'd really like to do that. But I've so many (useful and not) things to do in real life. The only (and free) solution is to turn the computer off (it's not easy).

3 - Searching...  ;D

My computer won't let me record videos, especially with audio, without being very jerky.

I don't know how to script like you and Neil does for a HAPTEK player presentation.

If I could afford a new, powerful computer, I'd go for it. but I cannot at this time.

I found the answer for me was to build my own computer.  I saved between £100 to £250 by doing that, I guess thats around $180 - $400.  The answer is to shop around for parts and re-use things you already have that you don't need to replace.  Putting a new PC together isn't rocket science either.

But if you are happy with what you have then I agree there is no point in changing.  I upgraded mine so I had a machine that could handle graphics really well, with things like rendering.  Another reason was to play some of the newer games that require a better system.  In the end it's all about what you need it for, I never bought a machine better than what I needed it for, because I couldn't see the sense.

If it's in the budget:

1) Upgrade the processor if motherboard allows.
(check out pricewatch.com for various components and types)

2) Upgrade motherboard memory (again if allowed)

3) Upgrade Graphics card (more memory is always better)

4) Internal cooling fans also help (some fit into an unused bay)

In the world of AI, it's the thought that counts!
