What video program do you use to make videos? I think Muvee is OK, but lacks the features of XP's Movie maker.

I hope it's not too expensive. (I have Windows 7)

I haven’t used it much but there is a free movie maker for Windows 7 from Microsoft, had a little play around with it and see that it can now do HD video.

Thanks, but I got that, it's still not as good as XP's movie maker, because you can add plug-ins to the old movie maker.

Thanks, Claude .     ;D  I tried the program (power DVD), but did not like it (I tried several video programs)

Some programs did not allow importing video files, some did not work too well.

Maybe I'll try the Cyberlink  once more. What I was hoping for was a program that played gifs as well as movie files, like the old XP movie maker did.

If you put a gif into most movie producers, it either gives an error, or plays as a still image.  ???

I have a dual boot XP and win 7

When in Win7 if I navigate to the old XP movie maker folder

XP drive / program files / movie maker

And run the moviemk.exe I can still use the old XP movie make in win 7  ;D
