Nice vid you put in Claude, since you seem to know a bit about 3D avatars and animation it seems possible that you may be able to answer some questions I have.  1,  I am mostly familiar with the Haptek characters which have state machines that give them a bit of movement, breathing, blinking, eye movement ect, is this built into the standard avatar or is it limited to Haptek?  2,   Haptek has fleshy characters with physics involved and again how common is this among the avatars?
Freddy actually got me interested in Daz Studio since I've been spending with the haptek characters, I've visited the site a few times but still have quite a few questions.

My friend Carl2, compared to Haptek in iClone.
1) For iclone the Avatar setting are programmed for each utilisasion.
It's simple, you just click on the notch of the interface, to the eyes.
2) Also, you can integrate all at once. Motion blink + + + other characteristic mimic mouth in one single job.
3) Result, you can keep your job in memory, and changed every need. To save time

For haptek, the parameters are different, it is a script, you can add, values for the behavior of the face, eyes and movements, observe the values and make file for ultrahal adapt, convert script to adapt section. O0

Claude,
I've just downloaded and tried blender, so far it can't open up anything that is haptek. htr's, haps, ect.  I was hoping to open up the wire mesh in blender, I think I've got the correct file which would be an obj file but is called a hap in haptek.  Blender will recognize the big name companies and there extensions but Haptek hasn't gotten that far.  Keep me informed.

Carl2 Hello, I present my research, as follows: ' Program suitable for opening the file haptek'
here is the answer Google:
http://www.openfilepro.com/fix-files/how-to-open-HTR-files.html

I do not know the reliability of the program, adapted to haptek for HTR file.
I think that the program 'Guide' of haptek, contains a lot of programming to use the HTR Hap. Now, if the computer is too evolved to haptek used the records, I think it would be seen, with the Haptek responsible, and ask how used a folder (player) to Windows 10 or 11, because I think this is very important for the program installation. ;) O0

Claude,
I'm pretty sure the problem I am running into is the result of the developers of the different companies, each one uses it's own set of extensions,  an example would be Haptek uses .htr and .hap.  These extensions are not used by any other company to my knowledge and are meant to work with the Haptek player and other Haptek software.  The Haptek  characters are working with Hal so there is no problem there.   Basically I would like to use a wire mesh with a higher poly count in a Haptek character, not sure it would work but I'd like to try.

Carl 2 Yes, more polygon, softens the subject, but it returned to the Haptek programmer, if the extension is only used by haptek or if a possibility exists, with other manufacturer, and programmer. We should know the professional work in collaboration with haptek. Or, ask Haptek suggestions.
It must have a solution. I will look on google. O0

Claude,
I've just finished reading what you have written and did a little search myself. I came across the Haptek SDK which Freddy has mentioned, I earlier had gotten it confused with the Haptek Guide, I did come across " DeltaSetMaker – turn OBJ formatted 3d models into Haptek models, create morph sets from many OBJ files ".   So this seems possible but it seems we would need the DeltaSetMaker,  unfortunately Haptek is high priced.  Now to think about what I've learned.

Carl 2, My Friend, I am doing the rounds on the Internet. After seeing a lot of text on the compressor. The compressor, work on Version People Putty buy. The compressor works independently of people putty on the purchase of the compressor. But Haptek, does not work against a sense, he refuses to be compressed by the other program. So, necessarily, take haptek, compressor master, not slave another program. Cele decreases solutions, but we must see the prices, less expensive, for haptek compressor. It's possible. O0

It is certain that for a character, and its axis, for the movement, it is important to work with the DeltaSetMaker compressor.
In contrast, a iclone, it exports very well, and get other format without any problems.
Became a iCloner, you will be more relaxed, and you can do so many things. ;)

Claude,
Thanks for your patients in trying to explain this to me since this is all new to me.  I had watched a video for blender to make an animated character but to get the detail I'd like would take forever.  I had just looked at the Reallusion website and don't even know which software I need, I guess it would be Iclone 6.  I'm not sure if you need to put it through the tts software,  Lots of unknowns.

Carl2, This is exactly the iclone 6, it is the last, improving by reallusion. It uses the TTS, MP3, Wav. You have a powerful mimic, in iclone6 interface. I come back in a few hours, for you, explain, are functioning.
See you soon!  O0

Iclone is very simple to use, in contrast, has the image, it is easy, practical, everything is in your hands, no need to seek. You just invented a subject, the program, and you have created your jewelry yourself! No need to script, or value added, to the eyes, face, ECCT. it yourself, which had to do the work (moving work position) then you replay your work, this is it! believe me everything is simple, Carl2. ;) O0

After a few tries in Daz and blender I was able to export the .obj from Daz and I could import it into Blender.  Next I went to the list of files generated to the haptek player temp, I copied and pasted these files to another folder and can click on a startup file that will load the character.   I renamed the file I think is the wire mesh file by adding a 1 to it.  This allows me to bring the .obj file into the folder and renamed it to the original haptek name used.  When the startup is clicked  the hap player stops working.  Doing some renaming and clicking on the start up file gets the character working again.  At this time I am downloading IClone trial version.  I believe the prices were about 60 for the standard and 200 for the pro versions.
