Shuttering Another AI Community
« on: June 07, 2021, 01:13:19 am »
It may be a virtual reality since we don't know for sure, but it seems another long time AI community may be shuttering their forum.  You know the one.  There are so few left.  No  need to even name it.  Oh Gosh, all those useful resources, and the memories of those we lost over the years no longer online. Although it is possible this is not the case, doesn't seem so. Let's see, but it is most likely gone.

Thank goodness we still have this AI community.

I can't guess which one you mean unless its chatbots.org which became pretty useless a while ago.

We ought to take a census though so we know which ones are actually still around.

Good guess!   :)

Hugh and Dave had posts there to name a few.  Nice memories.

ChatScript had good resources there too. Sorry to see that lost.

I have good memories of that site too. Hugh must have been before my time but I still miss Dave.

Yes, it's offline more than it's online now. Unfortunately, chatbots.org died when Erwin left and the new owner put a giant pop up window over the forum every time you visit. Such a shame.
