The internet of things is actually just a terminology for already existing technology; Noticeably many people are amazed when these new terms arrive on the scene and believe it to be some magical  knowledge or process (Block-chain) often they even devote a whole University course to the subject giving it more value.... educating people to believe that this process is so valuable that companies will pay for such qualified staff .... companies become fooled because often the directors / decision makers do not know technology or do not actually listen to their professionals. when they hear of such things they jump on it!.....

the internet of things does not have relevance in the AI industry... but can always be applied as the AI industry is so diverse... But actually this topic should be deleted...... As we are not interested in Advertisers joining to pedal their wears....as they say

"whats new to you is old to me!"

To some technology is still MAGIC! .... Especially in the realm of computer science!
Often we get people here asking which programming language they should use for AI..... best to direct them to python and tensor-flow! as they cannot be serious!.... even worse send them to pro-log or lisp!
