Thank you Tyler. That is very funny. It strips bare the human condition. We justify the vagaries of our year through simple acceptance of the judgement of our forbears', even when we can see it is just not logical or even convenient. We are conditioned to simply honour the judgements of our elders. It makes us more secure to live with it, even knowing the faults, than to question and change it.
