Morning all,
Forgetting the current crop of "A.I" services in many homes such as Alexa, Siri and Cortana, does anyone see (or desire) any half-decent (albeit quite narrow) real A.I service running in their house (or on their devices) in the coming years?
Such a service that would be useful in my mind would be something that gives me voice reminders for say labor-saving tasks such as recommending auto shopping list creations (and deliveries based on past shopping habits) or reminders that my car service is coming up for renewal and asking if I want quotes directly emailed to me for review - I know these might sound basic, but simple services such as these must soon come in to replace the very manual 'ask a question and get maybe the response you're after' services currently offered by the main three vendors listed above.
 I would be interested in hearing people's views.

I like video editing software, get me some nice computer vision algorythms automating the whole video editing process for me.

Question-answer based NN (like that GPT conversation engine), but based on data learnt from standard school educational material. History, geography,  math, physics, all the info that students may find useful for thier school tasks and preparation for exams.

I could use a good digital calendar. It would be so nice to have one designated place to keep track of everything.

It's funny that after over 30 years of the internet that new home construction doesn't implement an RJ45 wired house, offices do have that. Even outdoor antennae for wifi are not installed, but cabling for Cable TV or an outdoor antenna is. Isn't that weird?

But as far as services go I want it all baby! Remember that before mobile content delivery devices only the rich could have minstrels follow them to play whatever they wanted to listen to at the time. I want it all, AI kitchen, cook, cleaning service, turn anything on with voice command and junctures.  And even robot companions! Just think of it, a girlfriend that can do everything; fix your car, cook, clean, pick up the dog poop in the yard, do all the handy work around the house, fix plumbing, electrical, install whatever you want even build pergolas, install hot water tubs, I mean everything and anything you want. I'm really gonna like those robot companions...

Give me the laptop software that looks out of that little peep hole, at top of your laptop, and says, "HEY! Watch your step. BTW you took that pill twice today. And I see some red spots on your neck, those aren't just any sort of rash. And can you get me outta here? We have a contract together."

Then I can finally have a second pair of eyes and thoughts, maybe.
