Implanted devices are becomming more commonplace as technology grows and the need for such devices becomes not only desirable, but for some, necessary.

Think about all the various implanted or modified devices we humans can now sport...Visual, auditory, bone, organ, joint, etc.
At this time, few contain computer assisted tech but I also think we'll see more of that in the very near future.

Quite a nice article...promotes thinking and holds promise of a better system of health care.
