Project Anni (English & German) in Chatbots - English Thu, 02 Sep 2010 13:32:12 +0000
Anni stands for Artificial Neural Network Intelligence and was based in first versions on a three layer perceptron – a special type of a feedforward artificial neural network – to find appropriate responses. These experiments failed and the algorithm was changed. The current version does not use artificial neural networks anymore, but instead searches for similarities of the user's input in a database consisting of various chat logs to find a reasonable response. Furthermore this enables Anni to speak in several languages like English as well as German in the current version.
